The purpose of the relationships [[Glossary#Information area|information area]] is to record relationships between different [[Glossary#Authority Functions|functions]] and other [[Glossary#Authority Functions|functions]], and between [[Glossary#Authority Functions|functions]], [[Glossary#Authority record|authority records]] and [[Glossary#Archival description|archival descriptions]].
