Security panel with default values

An introduction to the new Security features provided in the 1.3 Release is located on the User Manual Login page.

The application ships with default values of "no", but the Administrator can select "yes" and increase security.

  • limit_admin_ip: limit incoming requests for all administrator functionality to an IP address or an IP range. Two examples:
    • 192.168.0.1
    • 192.168.0.1-192.168.0.255
  • require SSL for admin: see TLS for more details
  • require_strong_passwords : enhance login validation to force use of strong passwords. At least 8 characters long, contains characters from 3 of the following classes:
    1. Upper case letters
    2. Lower case letters
    3. Numbers
    4. Special characters
