Main Page > Beta Testing

When?

  • We formally began the beta testing phase of the ICA-AtoM project during the week of October 6, 2008.
  • Participating institutions were not expected to begin data entry during that week but are asked to start by November at the latest.
  • Please note that we released ICA-AtoM version 1.0.3 on October 9 and are using this version as the baseline release for beta testing.

Participation Requirements

  • The only requirement to participate in beta testing is to have one or more representatives from your institution enter some of your archival description data into ICA-AtoM and provide feedback to the ICA-AtoM development team on how to improve the software.
  • You can determine for yourself how much time and how much data to contribute to this process.
  • Please note that you can either have your institution host its own version of the software or we can host it on our server at no cost during the beta testing phase.

Become a Beta Tester

If you are considering having your institution participate in ICA-AtoM beta testing please contact Evelyn McLellan, ICA-AtoM Community Manager, for more information.
