When?

• We formally began the beta testing phase of the ICA-AtoM project during the week of October 6, 2008. It will end with release 1.1 (October 2010), since 1.1 will be the first non-beta, production version of the software.

Participation Requirements

• The only requirement to participate in beta testing is to have one or more representatives from your institution enter some of your archival description data into ICA-AtoM and provide feedback to the ICA-AtoM development team on how to improve the software.

• You can determine for yourself how much time and how much data to contribute to this process.

• Please note that you can either have your institution host its own version of the software or we can host it on our server at no cost during the beta testing phase. **Note** If you host it on your own server, we do ask that you make the site publicly available, since we are hoping that beta testers will learn from each other's work.

Questions and comments about using ICA-AtoM should be posted to the ICA-AtoM discussion group so that other users can add their responses and suggestions and learn from each other during this process.
